Hi, I'm Steven Doss.

I've spent my career in data and analytics — building reports, working with data warehouses, and helping business leaders make decisions from data. Along the way I saw the same pattern over and over: the hardest problems weren't technical. They were about ownership, definitions, and trust.

When nobody owns a data element, it drifts. When “active patient,” “customer,” or “revenue” means three different things, every meeting becomes a reconciliation exercise. And when no one knows where sensitive data lives, compliance becomes a guessing game.

I started Doss Business Solutions to fix that. I act as a translator between technical teams, analytics, compliance, and the executive suite — turning data governance from an abstract framework into concrete roles, definitions, and controls that make analytics better.
